如果说有一种绘画，能把中西面风融合在一起；如果说有一种技法，能把水墨画、水彩西、油画、版面的技法运用在一起；如果说有一种绘画，能把人生命的活力和沉淀的感情交融在一起，那就是画家傅启中富有深刻感染力的水彩画了。

　　傅启中的画，一扫过去对水彩画只是经松、流畅、清淡的概念，而变为可以是重压干钧的。

　　要问：在艺术表现上，描写什么难度大？我说：那莫如表现“万物之灵”的人和人生。

　　我所见到的傅启中的作品，大部分是表现我国藏族同胞生活习俗和感情的。《锄》，表现了一个藏族妇女，依靠她的勤劳毅力、顽强，似乎要在这片士地上，锄开生活的黄金时代。这本来是一件常见的事情，可是在四家艺术造型、精心结构的处理之下，就可以使观者产生对作品内涵的深沉思索。《等待》，这幅画作者虽然没有说明这个强悍浑厚的男子汉在等待什么，可是他的表情，是非常亲切的，他的脸上充满了希望，充满了阳光，也充满了曾经过的骤雨、风霜。《饮》，这幅画的用笔和设色是多么洗练，刻画出一个活生生的藏族青年勤劳、朴买的形象。《第旁》，画的是一对青年男女，在谈着知心话儿，以致使这里的草草木木都在倾诉-- 这里也有爱情o我不能一一列举作者的作品，因为他表现那种富有严岭的感情和顽强生命力的作品太多了，这在他的山水画、静物画中也没有例外。最后我只再提起 《沉思》这幅作品：这幅作品的内涵，可以任你去付摸。我看，在这个藏族老人背后的那几棵古树，它

　　可能已活了几个世纪，作者把它入画，我想可能把它当做历史见证了。老人在深沉地思索，想必是思前想后，想到过去奴隶社会生活的苦难时代，也想到今天的新生，还想到未来美好的前景吧。这种形象感人的魔力，是今天很少作品能够故到的。可是作者并不满足，用他自己的话来说：

　　“我爱能体现雄浑、厚重、博大而深沉的一切······”

　　傅启中创作的成就，创作的激情是从哪里来的呢？那就是他几十年来深入边陲藏族同胞的生活，与他们心心相印；那就是他不懈地磨炼艺术技巧人未稍怠，几十年来始终如一。他个人的思想感情和愿望，同祖国边陲少数民族的心声已经融汇在一起，他热爱人民，热爱生活，热爱祖国的新时代。

　　他的艺术创作，走的是现实主义与浪漫主义相结合的路，走的是民族精神与时代意识相结合的路，走的是传统精华与开拓创新相街接的路。他的艺术激情来自人民，来白对人类文化艺术事业的探求、开拓、创新、发展的事业精神。在这里还是用作者自

　　己的话，来结束我的剖析：“只要能拿起画笔，我就激动不已，忘了一切。我是心灵的表现派······”

　　通过形象表现人的心灵，这是艺术境界的最高层次，作者已经做到了，而且仍在执著地探求着。正是风华正茂的作者，我们拭目以待，希望能看到他在艺术创造上的新成就。

　　If we say there is a kind ot painting that can combine Chinese and Western styles； if there is a drawing technique mat can put wash painting，watercolor painting， oil painting and woodcut painting together； if there is a painting that can combine the vigor of man with his deep feelings， it will be the most impressive watercolor paintings of Fu Qizhong.

　　The paintings of Fu Qizhong add a lot of weight and full meanings to watercolor painting’s usual concept of being relaxing， smooth and delicate.

　　If someone asks. “What is the most difficult to depict in art expression？ “ I‘d say that would be human--the most intelligent thing in the universe and life.

　　Most of Fu Qizhong’s paintings that I have seen are about the Tibetan people‘s customs and their feelings. The painting Digging depicts a Tibetan woman digging the soil， which means she is creating the golden age of her life with hard work and persistence. It is common to draw such a picture， but the painter’s elaborate art forms and structure make people think deeply about the true meaning of the painting. The painting Waiting doesn‘t tell us what the strong man is waiting， but his expression is very affectionate. His face is full of hope and sunshine， and also weather--beaten. Drinking depicts a hardworking and guileless Tibetan young man vividly by succinct drawing and coloring. Beside the Fence depicts a young man and a young woman who are talking intimately， and it makes you feel that the grasses in the picture are telling that love is developing there...

　　I’m not able to name the painter‘s works one by one， because he has too many such works to express the stern feelings and great vitality. Finally I would like to mention the work Thinking again--you can figure out its true meaning in your own way. The old trees behind the old Tibetan man may have lived for several centuries， and the reason why the painter drew them， in my opinion， was that they were regarded as the witness of history. The old man is thinking deeply， and he must be thinking about the miserable old slave society， happy life of today， and the bright future. Few paintings can have such touching magical power nowadays. However， the painter is not satisfied with what he has achieved， and just as he says， “I love all the things that embody vigorousness， firmness， broadness and deepness...

　　Where does the passion for Fu Qizhong’s creation come from？ It comes from the life in close contact with the frontier Tibetan pople for decades， and he has never stopped practicing the painting technique. His own feelings and desire have been mingled with the aspirations of the frontier ethnic minorities. He loves the frontier people， loves life， and loves the new era.

　　His artistic creation combines realism with Romanticism， combines nationalism with modern consciousness， and connects traditional essence with creative technique. His passion for art comes from the people， from the spirit of exploring， developing， pioneering human cultural and artistic work.

　　I‘Il conclude my analysis by quoting from the painter， “I get very excited when I’m taking my painting brush， and I‘Il forget all other things. I am an expressionist of the soul..”

　　To express the soul of man through images is the highest level of art， and the painter has reached the acme of perfection， but he is still working hard on it. The painter is in his prime and we’Il wait and see his new achievements in the artistic creation.
